As a part of our homemade take out favorites we made this healthy alternative to fried chicken for a night of barbeque.
Serves 6
Ingredients
6 chicken breasts
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup egg whites
Coating:
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup almond flour
1/4 t salt
1/4 t cracked pepper
1 tsp paprika
1. Dredge the chicken in flour, then egg, then coating.
2. Bake chicken at 400 F for 35-40 minutes until done.
For a gluten-free alterative use cornflake instead of panko. For a keto alternative use all almond flour or substitute with ground flaxseeds.
